How the Glitch Text Generator Works
This glitch text generator can keep your original letters and attach Unicode combining marks around them. Stacking these marks creates digital noise while the result remains selectable, copyable text rather than an image.
Intensity controls roughly how many marks are added. Position favors marks above, through, below, or around the normal line. Five patterns distribute those marks differently, and New variation changes the selection seed only when you request it. The same text and settings otherwise stay stable.

How to Create and Copy Glitch Text

Choose an intensity
Start with Subtle when readability matters, Balanced for visible digital noise, or Heavy for a dense visual effect. The slider supports values between the presets.
Control mark position
Use Above, Middle, Below, or All. Position changes which combining-mark groups are favored and can substantially change clipping behavior in compact fields.

Readability, Rendering, and Accessibility Limits
This glitch text generator can estimate readability risk, but combining marks do not have a fixed visual height. Fonts, line height, and shaping engines position them differently, so a balanced result can become taller or tighter after pasting. Single-line username fields carry the greatest clipping risk; the destination previews are a warning, not a simulation of every platform.
Safe character mode reduces accidental styling of punctuation and emoji, but platforms may still limit total code points. One visible letter can contain several code points after marks are attached, which is why a short word may exceed a field limit.
Screen readers may announce combining marks inconsistently. Keep essential information in ordinary text. The decoder can remove combining and common zero-width characters, but it cannot undo replaced alphabets, reversed text, deleted characters, screenshots, or image effects.
